We’ve expanded our popular food tours to the Cass Corridor in Midtown!
Join us as we stroll and eat our way through this dynamic area of Midtown Detroit, rich with history, redevelopment, and vibrancy.
Delish Detroit invites you to explore Cass Corridor with us on foot while enjoying a progressive brunch!
The tour will primarily focus on the small geographic area south of Wayne State University, along Cass Avenue, Canfield, Willis, Alexandrine, and Second Avenue.
You will experience the revitalization of this historic part of Detroit firsthand as your guide shares fun facts and stories about the neighborhood’s changes over the years. Experience the architectural gems, historic brick streets, glorious mansions from the 1890’s in the Historic West Canfield District, artists’ and students’ enclaves, and music hangouts; and new housing, retail, community gardens and public art. Along the way, we will pop into some unique places, and visit a mix of classic and new eateries to enjoy locally made cheeses, smoked meats, specialty breads and baked goods, omelettes, Spanish tapas, veggies, sweets and more – enough food for brunch!
Tours run rain or shine! Dress for the weather!
Parking: Complimentary parking in the Traffic Jam & Snug Parking lot on Canfield.
We are pleased to be donating $1 from the sale of each Cass Corridor tour ticket to Cass Community Social Services!
