As a result of her personal interests, and as a way to help encourage more positive feelings of Detroit, she began to organize gatherings and tours to encourage friends, family and community groups to Experience, Explore and Enjoy Detroit…and a few years later… In 2007 she created Feet on the Street Tours bringing added energy and continued commitment to the city and the region.

Becky Scarcello – Business Manager

Becky has been a life-long supporter and promoter of the City of Detroit. She has worked and volunteered at several Detroit companies, foundations, and non-profit organizations focusing on city development and improvement. Becky loves helping people discover the hidden gems, fascinating people, and exciting venues of Detroit.

Jon Larson - Tour Guide

Jon was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and has lived in the city of Detroit since 2012. When not working he enjoys exploring Detroit, visiting the DIA, MoCAD, Dossin Great Lakes museum and biking on the Dequindre Cut, Riverwalk and Belle Isle.  Jon usually is a guide for the "Come Hungry-Leave Happy" Eastern Market Tour. He loves sharing stories about Detroit.

Marie Merchant - Tour Guide

Marie, a lifelong Detroiter and recent Communication and Sociology graduate from Eastern Michigan University, loves meeting and conversing with tour attendees from around the world, while sharing the rich history of Detroit. Marie invites you to hear her "millennial" perspective of the City​ along with some great stories.

Denise Pareyt - Tour Guide

Denise's desire to learn about Detroit's past and present called her to volunteer for Feet On The Street Tours. Now she works alongside Linda promoting the city of Detroit. You can catch her as "Ruby" on the Prohibition and All That Jazz Tour. She is also involved in many of our "Delish Detroit" tours.

Debbie Bridges - Tour Guide

Debbie enjoys sharing the history of Detroit and loves to connect people with the old and new of the city. We are proud to say she was a semi-finalist for the "Rose" award in 2009 for customer service.

Rachelle LaLonde - Tour Guide

After graduating from Central Michigan, Rachelle became a real advocate of Detroit.  She has created several field trips for students and groups of all ages promoting the "D".
